Bow Tie Ring

Looking for a quick and fun project? Check out the bow tie ring I made. It took me less then five minutes to make it, and it's such a cute gift don't you think? Below is the pattern. I used Phildar Phil Cotton 3 and a crochet hook size 2.5mm. All you need besides the crochet bow tie is an adjustable ring. I bought mine on Etsy, but you can search google as well and many shops will pop up. And last but not least you will need some superglue to glue the bow tie onto the ring. I can't make an easier project I think :-) Enjoy!

2. Haak 3 lossen, haak 4 dubbele stokjes in de ring. Haak 3 lossen, haak 1 halve vaste in de ring.
3. Herhaal rij 2.

1. Chain 4. Attach the first chain to the last with a slip stitch.
2. Chain 3. Do 4 trebble crochet in the ring. Chain 3. Do 1 slip stitch in the ring.
3. Repeat row 2.
4. Fasten off but leave a long tail. Now twist the tail around the middle a couple of times and weave in the ends.
5. Now glue the bow tie onto the ring and your project is finished!

  1. Love this simple but very pretty ring, just made one and wearing it now : ). I didn't have any rings so I used some of the long tail to make a chain that fits around my finger and fastened to the back of the bow. Thank you so much for all your wonderful patterns I always come and check your blog for amazing creations and ideas. You always surprise and spoil us.
    Thanks again Jules xx

  2. Hi Jules, thanks so much for your kind message! I love to read how you crocheted the ring instead of using an adjustable one. I would have never thought of that and I'm sure somebody will use your idea.
I really appreciate your visits and I really enjoy reading your kind comments and the comments of my other followers. Sometimes I'm too busy crocheting to respond :-) but please know that I read all of them and I try to respond as soon as I have the time.

  11. Very very cute! I should make one up for my daycare girls. I'm sure they'd each love one. I've gotta figure out how to translate your instructions/page on the library computer. Usually the page comes up and asks if I want to translate it but it didn't this time. Hmmm....

I'll be back! I'm following you now - would love a follow back when you have a moment or two @ http://familyliteracy2.blogspot.com or http://givingnsharing.blogspot.com

    Thanks! Tina
