Frogs, bears and foxes

 

Ik heb zo'n enorme voorraad amigurumi dat ik soms niet goed weet wat ik er mee moet. Ik bewaar ze in een grote doos en ik zoek soms wel eens naar goede doelen die het misschien kunnen gebruiken maar tot nu toe zonder succes. Voorheen stond ik nog wel eens op marktjes, en als het mooi weer was was dat ontzettend leuk. Maar helaas is dat er het laatste jaar natuurlijk niet van gekomen. Wie weet komt dat gauw weer eens. Wat doe jij met je amigurumi? Ik ben benieuwd! Laat een reactie achter in de comments want wie weet zitten er voor mij (of anderen) goeie tips bij. Ik wens je een fijne zondag!

I have such a huge amount of amigurumi that sometimes I don't know what to do with them. I keep them in a big box and occasionally I google for charity projects that might need them but so far without succes. I used to sell them every now and then on markets, and if the weather was nice it was a lot of fun. But unfortunately that did not happen last year. Who knows, maybe it will happen again soon. Gunther the Fox

Ik was al een tijdje bezig met de oranje Günther de Vos. Vandaag lukte het eindelijk om 'm af te maken. Ik had gewoon even niet zo'n zin om te haken, daarom bleef hij telkens liggen. Gek he? De afgelopen tien jaar heb ik eigenlijk elke dag gehaakt, en nu was het opeens even over. Maar gisteren ben ik begonnen met het haken van een hele leuke hond. En ik had weer evenveel zin als voorheen. Dus dat is fijn! De roze en de blauwe Günther haakte ik trouwens al eerder. Het patroon blijf ik lastig vinden. Als je goed kijkt ziet elke Günther er een beetje anders uit. Maar het is niet erg, het blijft een grappig patroon. Ik haakte de oranje Günther met Phildar Phil Coton 3 en een haaknaald 3.5mm. I had been working on the orange Günther the Fox for a while. Today I finally managed to finish it. I just didn't feel like crocheting for a while, that's why he was still unfinished. Crazy, isn't it? For the past ten years I've crocheted every day, and lately I just didn't feel like it. But yesterday I started crocheting a very cute dog and I was as enthusiastic as before. So that's nice! 

I crocheted the pink and blue Günther some time ago. I keep finding the pattern difficult. If you look closely, every Günther looks a bit different. But it doesn't matter, it's always lovely to make Günther. I made the orange Günther with Phildar Phil Coton 3 and a crochet hook size 3.5mm. Crochet Boxy Fox

Vosjes haken vind ik altijd leuk. Ik haakte er al een heleboel maar deze versie haakte ik voor het eerst. Het is een gratis patroon ontworpen door Erica van de website 5 Little Monsters. Long-legged Fox

De vos waar ik lang geleden aan begon is al een tijdje af maar ik had het nog niet hier laten zien. Ik wilde een foto maken in de grote rieten mand maar die bleek al bezet te zijn. Daarom staan ze nu samen op de foto. Het gratis patroon van de vos vind je hier. Een fijne dag vandaag!

Long-legged Fox

Ik ben een vos aan het haken aan de hand van dit gratis patroon. Het is een erg grappig patroon. Makkelijk te volgen en het gaat best snel. Nu het hoofdje en de armen nog en dan is hij klaar. Ik ben er nu al blij mee. Ik haak deze vos met Phildar Phil Coton 3 en een haaknaald 3mm. Een fijne dag vandaag!

I'm making a fox of this free pattern. It's a very fun pattern. It is easy to follow and the fox is growing very quickly. Now all I have to make are the arms and the head an my fox is ready. Crochet Fox Keychain

Ik haakte een klein vosje en maakte er een sleutelhanger van. Het patroon vind je onderaan dit blogbericht. Er staat ook bij welke materialen je nodig hebt. Je kunt natuurlijk ook ander garen gebruiken als je het garen wat ik gebruikt heb niet hebt. Veel plezier met dit patroon!

I made a little fox and turned it into a keychain. The pattern is below. There's also a list of materials I've used to make this fox. You can use other yarn as well if you don't have the yarn I've used. Enjoy making this little fox!

PATROON SLEUTELHANGER VOS
Benodigdheden: Phildar Phil Coton 3 in de kleuren zwart, oranje en beige + een haaknaald 3.5mm + een set veiligheidsoogjes maat 6mm.

Begin met zwart.
1. Maak een magische ring of haak 2 lossen. Haak 5 vasten in de magische ring OF in de eerste losse die je haakte. (5)
Wissel van kleur naar beige.
2. Meerder rondom. (10)
3. 1 vaste in elke steek rondom. (10)
4. * 1 vaste, meerder. * Herhaal rondom. (15)
5. 1 vaste in elke steek rondom. (15)
6. * 2 vasten, meerder. * Herhaal rondom. (20) Wissel van kleur naar oranje.
7. 1 vaste in elke steek rondom. (20)
8. * 3 vasten, meerder. * Herhaal rondom. (25)
9. 1 vaste in elke steek rondom. (25)
10. * 4 vasten, meerder. * Herhaal rondom. (30)
11. 1 vaste in elke steek rondom. (30)
12. Haak 7 vasten, meerder, haak 14 vasten, meerder, haak 7 vasten. (32) Je gaat nu beginning met het maken van de oren.
13. Haak 16 vasten.
Haak nu verder in de steken die je haakte in toer 13. Dus de eerste steek van toer 14 haak je in de eerste steek die je haakte in toer 13.
14. Haak 6 vasten, minder, minder, haak 4 vasten, minder, minder. (12)
15. Haak 12 vasten. (12) Begin met het vullen van het oor en de rest van het hoofdje.
16. Haak 4 vasten, minder, haak 4 vasten, minder. (10) Wissel van kleur naar zwart.
17. Haak 10 vasten. (10)
18. Minder vijf keer achter elkaar en hecht af.
Bevestig de oogjes. Maak nu het tweede oor door het garen aan te hechten in de steek naast de steken van toer 13. Herhaal dan de toeren 13-18. Hecht af. Bevestig een klein koordje in het midden tussen de oren en bevestig een ringetje. Je sleutelhanger is af!

CROCHET FOX KEYCHAIN 
Materials: Phildar Phil Coton 3 in colors black, orange and off white + a crochet hook size 3.5mm + a pair of safety eyes 6mm.

Start with black. 
1. Make a magic ring or chain 2. Make 5 SC in the magic ring OR in the first chain you made. (5) 
Change to off white. 
2. Increase around. (10) 
3. 1 SC in each stitch around. (10) 
4. * 1SC, increase. * Repeat around. (15) 
5. 1 SC in each stitch around. (15) 
6. * 2SC, increase. * Repeat around. (20) Change to orange. 
7. 1 SC in each stitch around. (20) 
8. * 3SC, increase. * Repeat around. (25) 
9. 1 SC in each stitch around. (25) 
10.* 4SC, increase. * Repeat around. (30) 
11. 1 SC in each stitch around. (30) 
12. Make 7SC, increase, make 14SC, increase, make 7SC. (32) You’ll start working on the ears now. 13. Make 16SC. 
Now continue working in the stitches you made in row 13. So the first stitch of row 14 goes in the first stitch you made in row 13. 
14. Make 6SC, decrease, decrease, 4SC, decrease, decrease. (12) 
15. Make 12SC. (12) Start stuffing the ear and the head. 
16. Make 4SC, decrease, 4SC, decrease. (10) Change color to black. 
17. Make 10SC. (10) 
18. Decrease 5 times. Fasten off. 
Attach the eyes. Now make the other ear by attaching the yarn next to the first SC you made in row 13. Now repeat rows 13-18. Fasten off. Attach a little cord in the middle of the fox in between the ears and attach a keychain ring. Your fox is ready!

Fox Rattle

Voor een creatieve markt hier in de Delft haakte ik deze leuke vossenrammelaar. Het patroontje vond ik hier op Freubelweb. Ik gebruikte een haaknaald 3mm en Phildar Phil Coton 3. Is het geen schatje geworden?

Gunther the Cuddly Fox

Ik maakte vorige week deze Günther de Vos af (klik hier voor het patroon). Het is zo'n leuk patroon. Niet altijd een even goed leesbaar patroon overigens, maar als je goed meeschrijft en een steekmarkeerder gebruikt dan helpt dat wel. Bij de staart haak ik sowieso altijd een paar toeren extra want volgens mij klopt daar iets niet in de beschrijving. Maar ik word hoe dan ook altijd erg blij als ik Günther haak. Ik haakte deze Günther met Phildar Phil Coton 3. Wil je Günther in andere kleuren zien? Klik dan hier.
Komende week zal ik trouwens een ander leuk projectje delen wat ik onlangs af maakte. Daarover later meer, voor nu wens ik je een fijne zondag.

I finished this Günter the Cuddly Fox (click here for pattern) last week. It is such a lovely pattern. But I must say it is not always a very clear pattern, but if you make notes and use a stitch marker it definitely helps. When I make the tail I always crochet a few extra round because I believe something isn't right in this part of the pattern. But no matter what, I'm always enjoying making Günther. Dit keer haakte ik Gunther de Vos in de kleur Amanda van Phildar Phil Coton 3. Ik gebruikte een haaknaald 3mm. Ik deed nogal lang over deze Gunther, waardoor ik soms een beetje de tel kwijt was. Ik heb dus hier en daar wel een klein foutje gemaakt, maar hij is er niet minder leuk om. Wil je Gunther ook een keer maken? Klik dan hier voor het patroon. It took me a bit longer then expected to make Gunther, so I lost count every now and then. So I made a little mistake here and there, but I think he's still very cute. Fox Ragdoll

Weet je nog dat ik aan de gehaakte vos werkte? Ik heb hem vandaag eindelijk af gemaakt. Alleen de oren moesten er nog aan genaaid worden, maar dat was zo'n klusje wat al een tijdje bleef liggen. Nuu is 'ie eindelijk klaar. Ik vond het patroon in dit superleuke boek, waar ik nog zeker veel meer patroontjes uit ga haken. Meer over dat boek en een ander soortgelijk boek lees je in dit blogbericht. Vergeet trouwens vandaag niet op mijn facebook-pagina te kijken, want daar heb ik een leuke giveaway die vanavond afloopt. Do you remember that I was working on this cute fox ragdoll? I finally finished it today. I only had to sew the ears onto the head, and now he's finally all done. I found the pattern in this cute book, and I will certainly make more toys from that book. Weer een Gunther klaar! Dit keer haakte ik 'm met Phildar Phil Coton 3 in de kleur Giraffe. Dat is een bijna gouden kleur, die voor dit vosje ook heel geschikt is. Ik heb deze Gunther kado gedaan, en de volgende is alweer in de maak. Wil je meer gehaakte vossen zien? Klik dan hier. Het patroon van Gunther vind je hier.

Another Gunther is ready! I made this one with Phildar Phil Coton 3 in the color Giraffe. This color is a golden color, that's very cute for this fox as well. Fox ragdoll

Ik kocht laatst twee boeken voor mezelf, omdat ik ze zo ontzettend leuk vond dat ik ze niet kon laten liggen: Gehaakte lappenpoppen en Gehaakte lappenpoppen 2. Beide boeken zijn geschreven door Sascha Blase die we kennen van AlaSascha. Deze vos staat in Gehaakte lappenpoppen 2. Er is staat ook een patroon van een mini-vosje in dit boek, die wil ik ook nog eens maken. Ik kocht de boeken omdat alle poppen er ontzettend leuk uitzien en de patroontjes niet moeilijk leken. Was dat laatste ook zo? Jazeker! Ik vind de patroontjes heel helder opgeschreven. Alle patroontjes zijn vrolijk en heel mooi gemaakt. In het boek vind je suggesties voor garen wat je kunt gebruiken. Ik had nog het nodige Phildar Phil Coton 3 liggen, dus dat gebruikte ik voor deze vos. De vos ziet er dus iets anders uit dan in het boek, want daar werd voor dit patroontje Scheepjes Stone Washed gebruikt. Ik weet niet precies hoeveel garen ik gebruikte, maar aan twee bolletjes heb je zeker genoeg. Dit is de kleur Vitamine (6). Ik haakte met een haaknaald 3mm. De vos moet nog in elkaar gezet, dus dat ga ik dadelijk doen. Een fijne dag gewenst!

Just recently I bought two books for myself, because they looked so cute and I just wanted to have some new books to try. I bought: Gehaakte lappenpoppen en Gehaakte lappenpoppen 2. Both books are written by Sascha Blaes that we know from the website AlaSascha. This fox is in Gehaakte lappenpoppen 2. There's also a pattern of a mini-fox in te book, and I'd love to make that one too. I bought the books because all ragdolls look so cute and the patterns didn't look too complicated. So were they not very complicated? No, the were not. The patterns are very easy to follow and all dolls are very cute and pretty. In the book you will find suggestions for the yarn that you can use. I had some Phildar Phil Coton 3 in my yarn stash, so that's what I used for this fox. The fox looks a bit different then in the book, because Sascha used Scheepjes Stone Washed. I don't know how much yarn I used, but if you purchase two balls you will certainly have enough. I used colour Vitamine (6) and a crochet hook 6mm. So now I'm off sewing all arms, legs and ears to this cute fox. Have a lovely day!

Een hele tijd geleden haakte ik Gunther de Vos. Ik vond 'm heel erg lief, maar uiteindelijk heb ik 'm weggegeven. Telkens als ik 'm langs zag komen op Instagram dacht ik: die moet ik ook nog eens maken. Dus van de week ben ik weer begonnen. Het blijft een superlief patroon. Fox

Een tijdje geleden zag ik op de blog Draad en Praat deze gehaakte vos. Ik vind 'm zo ontzettend leuk en daarom haakte ik 'm zelf. Ik gebruikte Phildar Phil Coton 3 en een haaknaald 2.5mm. Het patroon komt hier vandaan en is niet altijd even duidelijk, maar met een beetje fantasie kom je er vast uit.
Heb je trouwens gezien wat er bij mij mis ging? Halverwege was mijn bolletje garen op, dus ik pakte dezelfde kleur en ging er mee verder. Dat was precies bij de overgang van de poten naar het lijf, en zoals je ziet is het bovenste deel van het lijf en het hoofdje veel lichter. Hoe kan dat nu gebeuren, want ik gebruikte toch echt dezelfde kleur wol? Ja, maar ik lette even niet op het nummer van het kleurenbad. En dat bleek net anders te zijn, dus daardoor was er een kleine afwijking in de kleur. Goed op letten dus als je een tweede bolletje pakt voor hetzelfde project. Some time ago I saw this crochet fox on the blog of Draad en Praat. It's so very cute, so I  made one myself. I used Phildar Phil Coton 3 and a crochet hook size 2.5mm. The pattern is here (in English). Some parts are not very clear, but if you just do whatever you think is best you will make it.
But did you see what went wrong with this project? Half way I ran out of yarn, so I grabbed another ball of the same color and went on. It was at the point where the legs join the body, and as you can see the body is much lighter then the legs and the lower part of the head. So how did that happen, I had used the same color, hadn't I? Yes I did, but I wasn't paying attention because I didn't notice the different colors of the dye lot. And those numbers appeared to be different, so that's why there was a little difference in color. So make sure to check this before you grab a second ball of yarn for the same project.
