Granny Square Pillow Cover

The good thing about granny squares is that you can keep crocheting without having to watch what you are doing. At least I manage that quite well, so when I'm in front of the television I crochet away a few rows. Only when changing colors, of course, you have to pay attention. This will be a cover for a pillow and it's almost finished. I don't know yet which side I love more: the one with lots of white. Or the other one? Fortunately it doesn't matter much. If I get tired of one side I just turn the pillow over. But first let's get it finished.

Crochet Toadstools

It's been a while since I crocheted something and actually finished it. But this is such a fun and small project, before I realized it there were nine toadstools on the table. I'm going to make them into a garland and hang them in my garden shed. But maybe I'll make a few more mushrooms first, so the garland will be a little longer. I found the pattern of the small mushroom here on this website. The pattern of the larger toadstools (for example the red one at the top in the middle) is one of my own. You can find it here as a download in English. Happy crocheting!
