Ik ben weer met verschillende projecten tegelijk bezig. Wat is het toch moeilijk om het maar bij één ding tegelijk te houden. Het etui waar ik aan begonnen ben is bijna af, ik moet alleen de voering nog vastnaaien. Verder vond ik nog een paar kleine squares die ik eigenlijk heel grappig vind maar waarvan ik geen idee heb waar het patroontje is. Misschien kan ik het nog vinden, dan ga ik er zeker mee verder. En natuurlijk is er dan nog het kussen waar ik mee bezig ben. Dat zijn de twee grote squares onderaan de foto. Het kussen heb ik gisteren af kunnen maken, ik moet er alleen nog een paar knoopjes op naaien als sluiting. De foto zal ik dit weekend plaatsen, het is een erg vrolijk geheel geworden. Ondertussen heb ik weer een paar nieuwe workshops gepland. Dat wil zeggen: de data liggen vast, maar ik moet nog even bedenken wat ik tijdens de workshops wil gaan maken (of eigenlijk: wat ik de cursisten wil leren). Dat is nog best lastig hoor, want het moet niet te moeilijk zijn maar ook niet te makkelijk. En dan moet het materiaal er nog bij gezocht worden (katoen of wol of acryl) en natuurlijk de juiste haaknaalden. Een hoop om over na te denken, maar allemaal erg leuk om te doen.
Again, I'm working on several projects at the same time. It's really hard for me to keep it to one thing at a time. The pouch I was working on is almost finished, I only have to sew the lining. I also found a few small granny squares that I like a lot but I have no idea where the pattern is. I hope I'll find it somewhere, then I'll definitely continue with it. And of course there are the two large squares at the bottom of the picture that I was able to turn into a pillow yesterday. Now I just have to sew a few buttons on it as a closure. I will post the picture of the pillow this weekend, it turned out really fun. Meanwhile I have planned some new workshops. Or I should say: the dates are fixed. But now I have to think about what I want to make (or teach my students) during the workshops. And that's quite difficult, because it should not be too difficult but also not too easy. And then I need to think about the material (cotton or wool or acrylic) and what crochet hook I should use. So there's lot to think about, but at the same time I enjoy it a lot.
Ik herken het, hier ook!! Eerst kon ik genoegen nemen met 1 project, maar tegenwoordig, je ziet zoveel leuke dingen om te maken, dan moet ik me echt inhouden, want anders gaat het niet goed. Ook nu moet ik weer eerst (van mezelf) wat dingen afmaken voordat ik weer iets op mag starten.

Zo werkt het bij mij inderdaad ook, altijd bezig met verschillende projecten. Fijn toch, om af te kunnen wisselen en te haken aan een projectje waar je op dat moment mee bezig bent. Al probeer ik het aantal WIP's altijd wel te beperken, anders zie ik door de bomen het bos niet meer. En wordt het zo'n puinhoop in huis met al die rondslingerende onderhanden projecten.
