The pattern of the apple (in Dutch and English) can be found here on my blog. There will just fit an apple in the bag, so it's a very cute gift for a toddler.
Here's a short explanation in English on how to make the bag: the bag is made out of single crochet. Just make a piece of 15cm wide x 22 cm high. Fold it and close the sides with a long piece of yarn and a sewing needle. The strap of the bag is made out of single crochets as well and is 2cm wide and 25cm long. After sewing the strap to the side of the bag (sew them on the inside), do an extra row of single crochets on the upper edge of the bag. Make the apple and sew it onto the bag. Finished!
