Free Flower Pattern

And today it's flower number two's turn, made with Phildar Coton 3 and a crochet hook size 3mm. Because this flower is star-shaped, the pattern will probably be lovely in winter as well. Just use only white yarn and it might look lovely in a Christmas tree. But luckily we don't have to think about cold snowy days yet. Let's enjoy Spring first! :-) Enjoy this pattern, you will find it below (in US terms).

Patroon
1. Haak 5 lossen (L), haak 1 halve vaste (HV) in de eerste L.
5. * Haak in elke 1-losse-opening 1V. Haak dan 5L. * Herhaal dit tot je rond bent. Je hebt nu 10 boogjes rondom.
6. Haak in elk boogje: 2V, 1ST, 3L, 1ST, 2V.

Pattern
1. Chain 5. 1 slip stitch (SLST) in the first chain.
2. Chain 3 (counts as the first half double crochet (HDC) + 1 chain), 1HDC in the ring.
* Chain 1, 1HDC. * Repeat what's in between * until you have 10HDC around with 1 chain between them.
3. 1SLST in the second chain you made at the beginning of row 2. Change colour.
4. In the next 1-chain-opening: 1 single crochet (SC), chain 2, 1 double crochet (DC), chain 1.
In all other 1-chain-openings: 2DC, chain 1. If you completed this round do 1SLST in the second chain you made at the beginning of this row. Do 1SLST in the next DC and change colour while doing so.
5. * In every 1-chain-opening: 1SC, chain 5. * Repeat until you've completed this round. You should have 10 bows by now.
6. In each bow: 2SC, 1DC, chain 3, 1DC, 2SC. After the last bow: do 1SLST in the first SC and fasten off.
