Draad Made@Home

Of ik het leuk vond om een patroontje te ontwerpen voor het tijdschrift Draad Made@Home? Ja, natuurlijk! Ik vind het een ontzettend mooi tijdschrift dus ik vond het heel erg leuk om ervoor gevraagd te worden. Ik ging meteen aan de slag en dat was nog wel even een uitdaging. Want het was midden in de zomer en opeens moest ik iets bedenken en haken voor Kerst. Maar het lukte en ik ben blij met het resultaat: deze kerstboom-eierwarmers zijn precies geworden zoals ik had gehoopt. Je vindt het patroontje in de Kerst Special en die is online hier verkrijgbaar. Ik zag het tijdschrift van de week ook al bij de AKO op het station liggen, en ik heb het natuurlijk vol trots even doorgebladerd. Het tijdschrift staat vol met mooie patronen die je kunt haken, borduren, breien of naaien. Dus zoek je nog leuke patroontjes voor de Kerst, dan kun je met dit tijdschrift je tijd wel vullen.

If I was interested in making a design for the magazine Draad Made@Home? Yes, of course! I love the magazine so I was really excited that they asked me. I started working on a pattern right away, and that was a little bit of a challenge. It was the middle of summer and I had to make a design for Christmas. But I managed to make something and I'm happy with the result. These Christmas Egg Cosies turned out just the way I wanted them to be. You can find the pattern in the Christmas edition of the magazine that is available online here (only available in Dutch). I also spotted the magazine in a book shop at the station this week and of course I browsed through it. The magazine is filled with gorgeous patterns: crochet, embroidery, knitting and sewing. So if you are looking for some lovely Christmas projects, you can surely find them in this magazine.
