WoolNEss Festival

I had planned a blog post about a nice amigurumi that I crocheted, but that has to wait until next week because I have something else to share. And that is that WoolNEss Festival is coming! Have you not heard of it yet? That can be right, because it is a festival that is being organized for the first time in Newcastle Upon Tyne (UK).
I happened to find out about it and I am very happy that I have the opportunity to go to the UK to visit WoolNEss.
The idea behind the organization of this festival is that being creative - in summary - is incredibly good for you. Because if you make something yourself, it gives you a certain satisfaction. It makes you proud of yourself and how fun is it to celebrate this with others? I remember my first time crocheting something. I was so happy that I made something myself that also looked nice. I really wanted to show it to everyone. Well that feeling, that is exactly what this festival is about.
I really enjoy going there and I will certainly write a blog post about what it has been like. Do you want to read more about WoolNEss Festival? Click on this link to go to the website, and if you click here you will go to the Facebook page of Woolness. There are of course also workshops to follow, which you can find on this page. A list of exhibitors is here. And if you are there on Saturday night, you can even visit an evening event. If you are going to WoolNEss Festival you can purchase your entry ticket here and of course I wish you lots of fun!
